UINR has partnered with CEPI Youth to launch an exciting new contest, where you can win great prizes while learning about the species-at-risk that live in the Bras d’Or Lakes Watershed.
To enter you must submit a photo via social media (Facebook or Instagram) or iNaturalist (Project name TBA) or by email.

Include the following key information:
? Location (the more detailed the better)
? Date and Time
? Visibility (open, obscured, visible)
? Captive or cultivated

*The animal needs to be clearly visible and identifiable, if you are unsure about the species in your photo please submit to be reviewed by one of our project staff*
Rules while participating:
– Social distancing must be followed
– No species are to be touched or taken from where they are found.
– Be aware of your surroundings.
– Must be in Unama’ki (Cape Breton)

Entries:
➡️ A picture of your family participating in the Species Watch Challenge – 1 entry *can only be redeemed once*.
➡️ A picture of a turtle species – 1 entry *multiple pictures from the same species ID will not be accepted*.
➡️ A picture of a bee species – 1 entry *multiple pictures from the same species ID will not be accepted*.
➡️ A picture of our featured Species at Risk – 3 entries.

All entries will be entered into an online random name picker. We will choose 3 names who will receive Amazon gift cards for $100, $50 or $25!
