This project intends to build on the momentum created from previous community
sessions to identify what is currently being done on environmental management on
reserve lands. There is a need to identify community priorities and perspectives in Nova
Scotia Mi’kmaq communities and explore what is working and if there are lessons
learned that can be shared with other communities to address regulatory gaps.
