Join us for a workshop for Mi’kmaq Harvesters who come into contact with species at risk (listed under SARA) such as wolffish, leatherback turtle, northern bottlenose whale, Sowerby’s beaked whale, and Atlantic mackerel.
Our workshop will include species identification, proper handling and release of species at risk that Mi’kmaq harvesters may encounter.
Presentations by MARS (Marine Animal Response Society), DFO, Mi’kmaq Harvesters and UINR.
